Ex Ffestiniog coach 118 after refurbishment and repainting
Newly restored RNAD Waggon
Passenger services normally operate, on the almost 1 mile line, and run through the Country Park to terminate at Newlands Inn Station, which overlooks the disused Cromford Canal, on selected mid-week dates; all weekends and Bank Holidays throughout the season from April to late October. The Running Shed, a modern purpose built maintenance, repair and storage facility, and other storage houses our collection of 17 diesel locomotives and a varied collection of rolling stock, including the century old Ashover Coach No. 4, which was restored over 7 years by GVLR volunteers, after 50 years as a changing room, at the Bowling Green, Clay Cross.
