The Narrow Gauge Railway is located on the main Museum site at the Midland Railway - Butterley. It can be accessed via Butterley Station which is situated one mile north of Ripley [Derbyshire] on the B6179. Trains run every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday from the beginning of April to the end of October, except the occasional Saturday when the Midland Railway - Butterley is closed. Trains also run during the Easter, Whit and Summer school holidays. more details....
Passenger services commence at 12:30 hours and thereafter run at 45 minute intervals until 16:15 hours. Trains depart Butterley Park Station, on the main Museum site, to Newlands Inn Station and return. more details....
